Had dinner with a bunch of collegues at Tao's. Must say that although the food was at best above average (my expectations are high after Ember), the service was impeccable. Our group was originally 12, but due to the increased flight schedules (put aeroplane), only 5 turned up. We were given a room, and were so pai seh that we told one of the guys there that he could change us to the main dining area if necessary. That guy (Irwin) said that he would not mind us staying in the room since we already booked it.

The most amazing thing about Tao's is the crew are all immensely friendly, makes dining at the price that we are paying enjoyable for once. At alot of other places, for the price that we paid, we would have most likely gotten plates placed with a loud "thud" on the table.
Here are some pics.
Ham and Cheese and Mushroom Gratin served in a non-stick pan.. Tefal man Jamie Oliver would be proud. Eaten with thick toast..

Some forgettable Italian salad thingy..

Nice fruit salad..
